WOOD for life
MY ROLE
CREATIVE DIRECTOR
HEAD OF PRODUCTION
DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY
Wood For Life uses wood from forest restoration efforts to fuel Indigenous communities that rely on firewood to heat their homes. The NFF salvages small-diameter timber removed in fire prevention efforts from the national forests and donates it to Indigenous communities to assist in heating homes. My job was to capture the entire process by spending a week in the national forests of Arizona following an Ancestral Lands crew to capture this work. I handled all stages of production and creative to bring this to life for a non-profit doing important work.
